What could direct orders change?
Explore the possible benefit after subscription, setup and your estimated additional costs. Results are an illustration, not a savings guarantee.
What could moving regulars direct be worth?
Estimate the share of marketplace sales you can realistically move to your own website. Only that share avoids marketplace commission.
The estimate assumes the same sales value moves direct every month for 12 months. It does not assume extra orders or that every marketplace customer will switch.
Net benefit subtracts the chosen subscription, £99 setup, and your estimated additional processing and promotion costs. A negative result means these costs exceed the estimated benefit.
Use the difference between your marketplace and direct payment costs, including any fixed transaction charges converted to a percentage. The sample 2% is an editable cost assumption, not Mollie’s quoted rate. See Mollie’s separate percentage-plus-fixed fees. Hardware, domain renewals, bespoke work, tax effects and changes in food or delivery costs are excluded.
Your first-year estimate
Adjust the assumptions for your takeaway.
Processing applies only to sales moved direct. Promotion cost is a monthly budget, including discounts. Use 0 if no additional cost is expected; blank or invalid amounts count as 0. Percentages are limited to 0–100.

First-year net benefit = avoided annual commission − subscription − £99 setup − additional processing − promotions. Later years exclude setup and assume unchanged sales and costs.
The annual subscription is £588 paid upfront (£49/month equivalent), plus £99 setup. Monthly results spread these costs over 12 months; they are not a cash-flow forecast.
